Giving Your Shed A Strong & Durable Foundation
We offer precise and durable foundation installation, working with Site Prep, who are recognized as the best foundation company in the industry. As a seasoned contractor for foundation projects, they bring practical expertise and a detail-oriented approach to every project, no matter the scale or complexity.
Premium Site Prep includes:
- Measurements are taken from the outside of the foundation perimeter.
- Site excavation and leveling are included.
- The perimeter is constructed with pressure-treated 4 × 6 or 4 × 4 lumber and secured with 1/2 in. × 24 in. rebar stakes for stability.
- The top of the 4 × 6 or 4 × 4 perimeter will be set approximately 1 in. above ground level at the structure’s entrance.
- A 4–6 in. layer of 3/4 in. clean stone will be leveled and compacted.
- Woven geotextile fabric separates the stone from the ground to improve drainage, strengthen foundation stability, and help prevent weed growth around the structure.
- The stone base functions as both a foundation and drainage bed, helping prevent moisture damage, uneven settling, and premature deterioration while extending the structure’s service life.
